Bankers are assembling a €7 billion debt package to finance the sale of a majority stake in Siemens Energy AG’s steam turbines division.
The unit could be valued at more than €10 billion.
Private equity firms CVC Capital Partners and EQT AB have reportedly expressed interest in the acquisition.
The financing includes leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, and significant undrawn credit facilities.
This move follows Siemens Energy’s August announcement to separate the division.
