Roche announced new Phase III data for its investigational multiple sclerosis (MS) drug fenebrutinib at the MSToronto2026 conference. Late-breaking results from the FENtrepid and FENhance 1 & 2 trials showed a therapeutic effect on chronic active lesions, a key driver of long-term disability in MS.

Pooled data showed a 55% reduction in the annualized relapse rate compared with an active comparator. Results also showed a reduction in the volume of slowly expanding lesions, indicating that fenebrutinib targets chronic inflammation within the brain.

Fenebrutinib is under priority review with the U.S. FDA for relapsing and primary progressive forms of MS.
