Roche Holding AG and collaborator MediLink reported positive interim results from the Phase III TAISHAN-302 trial. The study evaluated Tam-Peli (tambotatug pelitecan) in Chinese patients with relapsed small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). The trial met its primary endpoint of overall survival.

Tam-Peli reduced the risk of death by 54% compared to the standard-of-care topotecan. The drug also reduced the risk of disease progression by 71%. The objective response rate reached 59.1%, compared to 9.7% for the control group.

The International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) 2026 World Conference featured these results. The New England Journal of Medicine simultaneously published the findings. Roche plans to initiate global Phase III trials based on this data.
