NFI Group subsidiary Alexander Dennis secured a contract from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority for at least 207 low and zero-emission buses.
The firm order carries a value of £57 million.
This agreement supports the region’s transition to a franchised bus service model.
The contract includes options for 150 additional vehicles.
Exercising these options would increase the total deal value to £95 million.
The full order potential covers 357 buses.
British facilities will manufacture the vehicles for delivery in 2027.
The order brings the total Alexander Dennis fleet for the region’s franchised network to approximately 400 vehicles.
