J.P. Morgan Asset Management now offers its tokenized money market funds on the Solana blockchain. These funds are available to qualified U.S. investors. The two funds are My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX). JPAM previously launched both funds on the Ethereum network.
Investors access these funds via JPMorgan's "Morgan Money" platform. They can subscribe or redeem shares. Tokens are delivered directly to their blockchain addresses. This multi-chain strategy provides institutional clients with tokenized liquidity. These clients include stablecoin issuers. The liquidity spans the various networks where clients operate.
This expansion reflects a growing trend. Major financial institutions are leveraging public blockchains. They use these blockchains to tokenize real-world assets. JPMorgan utilizes Solana for this initiative. Solana boasts high transaction speeds and low costs. JPMorgan continues to build its digital asset infrastructure.
