Secret documents obtained by The Washington Post show that major technology companies were among the top donors to a $330 million White House ballroom project for President Donald Trump. The project involved demolishing the East Wing.
Nvidia and Apple were the largest contributors, each committing $25 million. Microsoft and Palantir reportedly contributed $10 million apiece.
The White House had previously disclosed some donors. The documents provide a more complete picture of the project’s funding sources and scale.
