TotalEnergies forecasts second-quarter 2026 hydrocarbon production at nearly 2.4 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (Mboe/d). Brent crude prices rose sharply, averaging $103.8 per barrel. This contributed to an expected $1 billion increase in cash flow from the Exploration & Production segment compared to the first quarter.
The Middle East conflict impacted production less severely than anticipated. Production stood at approximately 210,000 boe/d, compared to a prior estimate of 360,000 boe/d.
However, the company expects a significant decrease in Integrated LNG results. This is due to underperformance in gas trading activities.
Conversely, the Downstream segment projects a sharp increase in results. This is buoyed by higher refining and petrochemical margins.
