Details have begun to emerge about Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series, which is expected to be unveiled early next year. The lineup is positioned to compete directly with Apple’s recent iPhone 18 Pro.

Industry sources say the phones will use Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processor. The chip is expected to bring significant gains in CPU, GPU and AI performance.

Samsung is also reportedly adding a Pro model between the standard models and the top-tier Ultra. The move appears aimed at competing more directly with Apple’s range of premium phones.

The company plans to keep price increases minimal despite rising component costs, signaling an aggressive push to gain a larger share of the premium market.
