Samsung Semiconductor announced its V10 BV-NAND at the Global Memory Innovation Forum 2026 in Shenzhen. It is the industry’s first V-NAND with more than 400 layers and was presented as foundational technology for the era of Agentic AI.
Compared with its predecessor, V10 offers 58% higher bit density. Its I/O is 33% faster, and it uses 25% less power.
Samsung also introduced two server SSDs for AI applications and KV cache shared storage: the performance-focused PCIe Gen6 PM1763 and the high-capacity BM1773. Samsung bills the BM1773 as the world’s smallest 256TB SSD.
At the event, Samsung received the Outstanding AI Memory & Storage Industry Leadership Award for its sustained innovation in DRAM and NAND technologies.
