Swedish defense firm Saab announced the Netherlands signed a Letter of Intent with Sweden to potentially acquire GlobalEye Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.

The parties have not yet signed a formal contract or finalized a firm order.

The GlobalEye system provides long-range surveillance across air, sea, and land domains.

This acquisition aims to improve Dutch threat identification and response times for national and joint defense.

Saab remains ready to proceed as the procurement process moves to the next stage.
