Petrobras achieved its highest-ever recurring quarterly net profit during the second quarter. Oil production reached 2.7 million barrels per day. This output marks a 15% increase compared to the same period last year. Production volume exceeded the company's Q2 forecast by 200,000 barrels per day.

Domestic fuel-price policies negatively impacted the overall financial results. The company also paid approximately 4.9 billion reais due to a 12% export tax.

Management emphasized a strong operational footing while acknowledging ongoing risks from market volatility and regulation.
