Petrobras hits peak 180,000 barrel output at Mero, boosting cash flow

Petrobras’ FPSO Alexandre de Gusmão platform reached its maximum production capacity of 180,000 barrels of oil per day.

The platform operates in the Mero field within the pre-salt Santos Basin.

The Mero field currently ranks as the third-largest producing field in Brazil.

Petrobras operates the asset alongside consortium partners Shell, TotalEnergies, CNPC, and CNOOC.

This production milestone supports the company's strategy to increase high-value pre-salt output and strengthen cash flow.
