Porsche Automobil Holding SE confirmed its full-year 2026 forecast. The company reported increased profitability for the first half of the year.
Operating profit grew 33.9% to €1.35 billion. Operating return on sales improved to 7.8% from 5.5% year-over-year.
This performance occurred despite a 5% revenue decline to €17.23 billion. Vehicle deliveries dropped by 16.5%.
Rigorous cost management and a "value-over-volume" strategy drove the positive results. This strategy focuses on higher-margin vehicles.
The company reaffirmed its outlook despite a challenging market environment. It expects full-year revenue between €35 billion and €36 billion. Operating return on sales is projected between 5.5% and 7.5%.
A strategic realignment, including job cuts, will incur costs in the second half. Porsche expects this realignment to pay off in the long term.
