Porsche plans to reveal its Mission S hypercar concept on October 15, 2026. The debut would mark the company’s return to the hypercar segment since the 918 Spyder ceased production in 2015.
The Mission S is part of Porsche’s Sportwagenschmiede ’35 strategy, which focuses on higher-margin, exclusive vehicles. Teaser videos suggest the concept will use an internal combustion engine. Its digital instrumentation shows a redline above 7,500 rpm and a speedometer that reaches 250 mph.
The design is expected to draw on Porsche’s GT-inspired road cars and use a mid-engine layout. The reveal supports Porsche’s plan to introduce one brand-defining product each year. The plan runs through 2030 and reflects a focus on profitability over sales volume.
