Hyundai Motor selected NVIDIA’s Hyperion 10 hardware for its upcoming Level 2-plus and Level 2-plus-plus driver-assist systems.

The automaker scheduled the rollout of these advanced systems for 2028.

This decision follows a delay in Hyundai’s proprietary Atria driver-assist software until late 2029.

The initial hardware configuration utilizes cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and radar.

Hyundai plans to add lidar technology later to support Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities.

The partnership also expands to include NVIDIA data-center chips and Boston Dynamics humanoid robots.
