Alphabet's Google partnered with China's Geely Holding Group. The agreement, announced October 16, 2026, integrates Google's built-in services into Geely's vehicle brands. These services include Google Maps, Google Play, and the AI assistant Gemini. They will appear directly in digital car cockpits for cars sold outside of China and the United States.

The collaboration aims to enhance the in-car digital experience with familiar and convenient connectivity. First vehicles with integrated Google services will roll out in the second half of 2027. The partnership builds on Google's existing relationships with Geely-owned brands like Polestar. It will extend to Geely, Lynk & Co, Proton, and smart.
