TotalEnergies SE agreed to sell a 50% stake in its European onshore wind and solar portfolio to KKR. The deal values the 1.2-gigawatt portfolio at an enterprise value of €1.8 billion ($2.08 billion).
The assets include developed projects operating across France, Germany, Poland, and Spain.
In a separate transaction, TotalEnergies will acquire a 4-gigawatt renewables portfolio from Shell. This acquisition features solar, wind, and battery storage projects primarily located in the U.K., Italy, and Spain.
