EQT AB’s Mid Market Europe fund signed a definitive agreement to sell Ontinue to Quorum Cyber. Ontinue provides AI-powered managed cybersecurity services.
The company specializes in threat detection and response within the Microsoft ecosystem. It serves more than 250 customers across Europe and the United States.
EQT carved out Ontinue from Open Systems in 2023. The firm approximately doubled in scale during its period of EQT ownership.
Growth initiatives included leadership reinforcement, technology platform consolidation, and targeted acquisitions in data science and AI. Financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
