Enbridge Inc. announced that President and CEO Greg Ebel will retire on December 31, 2026. Michele Harradence will succeed him as CEO effective January 1, 2027. Harradence currently serves as Executive Vice-President and President of Gas Distribution and Storage. The board finalized the appointment following a multi-year succession planning process. Ebel will retain his board seat until retirement and act as an advisor until May 2027.

Harradence joined Enbridge in 2014 following a career at Shell Canada. She has led the company’s gas utilities business since 2022. This business unit serves more than 7 million customers throughout North America. Harradence also oversaw the recent integration of three U.S. natural gas utilities acquired from Dominion Energy.

Ebel has served as CEO since January 2023. He previously facilitated the company's merger with Spectra Energy in 2017.
