EDP Energias de Portugal (EDP.LS) raised its full-year earnings outlook for 2026 following a strong first-half performance. The utility now expects recurring full-year EBITDA of approximately €5.3 billion, up from its previous €5.2 billion target. Recurring net profit is now projected at €1.4 billion, an increase from the prior €1.3 billion estimate.

First-half EBITDA reached €2.75 billion, surpassing the market consensus of €2.63 billion. Net profit for the period rose 3% year-on-year to €732 million. Electricity network earnings jumped 14% during the first half, while renewables EBITDA grew by 12%.
