Salesforce (CRM) has agreed to acquire AI-powered customer engagement platform Braze (BRZE) for an enterprise value of approximately $5.66 billion.

Salesforce will pay $47.50 in cash for each share of Braze’s Class A common stock. That price represents a premium of about 58% to Braze’s prior closing price.

The acquisition is intended to strengthen Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud with Braze’s real-time personalization technology. Braze helps businesses manage customer interactions across mobile apps, email and SMS.

The transaction is expected to close in Salesforce’s fiscal year 2028, subject to approval from shareholders and regulators.
