BYD Marks Thailand’s 100,000th Vehicle, 10,000 on Pakistan Roads

BYD announced two overseas expansion milestones on September 25, 2026.

Its Thailand plant produced its 100,000th vehicle, two years after opening. The facility is BYD’s first in Southeast Asia. It assembles five models and serves as a regional export hub.

In Pakistan, BYD’s partnership with Mega Motor Company (MMC) marked 10,000 vehicles on the country’s roads. The achievement is the quickest sales ramp-up for any new energy vehicle brand in Pakistan’s history. BYD offers five models in the country and is preparing to begin local assembly at a new dedicated NEV production plant.
