Brookfield’s Investment Solutions Group will manage a multi-decade, multi-asset mandate for the UK’s Nuclear Liabilities Fund (NLF). The initial commitment totals $1 billion (£750 million).
The NLF provides the necessary funding to decommission eight of the UK’s nuclear power stations. Brookfield will deploy this capital globally across infrastructure, energy, private equity, real estate, and private credit.
The partnership targets long-term growth by reinvesting proceeds to compound returns. This strategy is designed to meet the fund’s extended investment horizon.
