Brookfield Corp. has entered India’s industrial and logistics market by acquiring a portfolio from ESR India. The company committed approximately $450 million (₹4,300 crore) to the acquisition and future development of the assets.

The portfolio covers 10.5 million square feet and comprises eight Grade-A industrial and logistics parks. They are located in major consumption hubs, including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi-NCR and Chennai. The properties are 98% leased to a diverse range of tenants.

The acquisition gives Brookfield immediate scale in a rapidly growing sector and expands its real estate presence in India beyond office and hospitality assets. ESR India will continue to manage the properties in the near term, supporting operational continuity for customers.

The deal reflects strong institutional investor interest in India’s logistics infrastructure, amid the country’s growing integration into global supply chains and rising e-commerce penetration.
