Brookfield will invest up to $600 million in ACME Cleantech Ventures through its Global Transition Fund. This transaction marks Brookfield’s first investment in the green molecules sector in India and the Middle East.
The capital supports the construction of green ammonia and green methanol projects to decarbonize heavy industries. ACME Group aims to supply these clean fuels to the fertilizer, shipping, and chemical sectors.
ACME has already secured offtake agreements for its green energy products with multiple international and domestic companies.
