Brookfield agreed to acquire Reliance Worldwide Corporation (RWC) for $2.8 billion in an all-cash transaction.

The offer values RWC shares at $3.38 per share. Reliance’s board of directors unanimously recommended the proposal.

Brookfield Capital Partners and Brookfield Business Corporation will fund the acquisition. Anuj Ranjan, CEO of Brookfield’s Private Equity group, described Reliance as a market-leading industrial company.

Brookfield intends to leverage its expertise to support the manufacturer's next growth phase.

The deal remains subject to shareholder, regulatory, and government approvals. The parties expect to finalize the transaction in the first quarter of 2027.
