Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) secured a Rs 541 crore contract from the Indian Ministry of Defence on August 10, 2026.
The agreement covers the supply of communication equipment, electro-optics, and ammunition fuzes. BEL will also provide Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) systems alongside spares and services.
This order expands the company's existing backlog and ensures revenue visibility for future quarters. The firm nature of the contract allows for immediate project mobilization.
Total disclosed order inflows for the current fiscal year continue to rise. This growth reinforces BEL’s position as a critical supplier to the national defence sector.
