Avolon placed a firm order for 110 Airbus aircraft. The order is part of a larger 250-jet deal that also includes Boeing.

The Airbus order includes 75 A320neo family narrow-body jets. It also includes 35 A330neo wide-body aircraft. The agreement makes Avolon the largest lessor customer for the A330-900.

The deal reflects strong airline demand for modern, fuel-efficient aircraft as carriers renew and expand their fleets. Avolon CEO Andy Cronin said the orders will support airline customers’ needs well into the next decade.

The transaction requires approval from shareholders of Bohai Leasing, Avolon’s majority owner. Approval is expected by the end of October 2026.
