Saudi Aramco shut down its Jazan oil refinery following an attack on Saturday. The facility maintains a processing capacity of 400,000 barrels per day.

Damage occurred at the Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle complex and the tank farm area. Aramco expects to complete repairs and restart operations by August 15.

The shutdown disrupts major refining operations and threatens regional oil product supplies. The company is also evaluating new pricing mechanisms for Asian exports via the Sidi Kerir terminal.
