Saudi Aramco has resumed crude oil exports from the Red Sea port of Yanbu after restarting the East-West Pipeline. The pipeline had been shut down following drone attacks on September 11.

On Monday evening, the state oil company notified customers of its October loading schedule from Yanbu. Current pipeline flows are around 3.5 million barrels per day. A full return to the pipeline’s previous rate is expected to take more time.

The restart restores a major route for Saudi oil exports to global markets, particularly Europe, bypassing the Strait of Hormuz. News of the resumption initially weighed on Brent crude prices, while broader regional uncertainty continued to support the market.

The pipeline’s restart is a key step toward stabilizing Middle Eastern oil exports amid ongoing regional tensions.
