Saudi oil giant Aramco is reportedly seeking thousands of tons of diesel, a significant shift for a company that is typically a top producer and exporter. The move follows an escalation of Houthi attacks on its infrastructure throughout September, which has caused fuel shortages.

Aramco is reportedly bidding for diesel cargoes from the Mediterranean to secure domestic supply. The attacks have affected key facilities, including the refinery at Yanbu and the Jazan processing plant, disrupting the company’s usual production and supply.
