Zoom Video Communications (NASDAQ: ZM) introduced its Unified Context Layer at the Zoomtopia 2026 conference. The architecture is designed to connect and synthesize data from meetings, chats, phone calls and third-party applications, including Salesforce and Microsoft OneDrive.
The layer powers AI tools such as ZoomMate Agent Teams and enhanced My Notes workflows. The tools are intended to turn conversations into actionable tasks and completed work.
Zoom says the system aims to give human users and AI agents access to a complete business history, reducing information silos and improving productivity. The company also introduced new AI governance and security controls for administrators.
