Zoom is rolling out “proof of human” badges for enterprise customers in partnership with World ID. The feature uses biometric technology to verify that a person on a video call is human, not an AI-generated deepfake. It compares an iris scan and live selfie with the video feed to issue a Human Badge.

The feature responds to concerns about AI being used to impersonate executives and others in high-stakes video conferences. Zoom says it aims to protect sensitive conversations and build trust on the platform.

On the same day, Zoom is also releasing meeting features, including translated speech projection.
