XPeng announced on October 22 that cumulative deliveries of its flagship GX SUV had surpassed 30,000 units. The milestone came about five months after the model's launch. The GX is the company's fastest vehicle to exceed 10 billion yuan in revenue. Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng attended a ceremony in Beijing marking the milestone.
XPeng also said it had secured nearly 4,000 orders for the GX from the Middle East. The company plans to begin deliveries in the region and other international markets in its next phase.
The operational news comes as XPeng's stock has recently faced pressure amid broader concerns about slowing growth in China's competitive electric vehicle market.
