Lockheed Martin reported third-quarter earnings above analyst expectations, citing sustained demand for its fighter jets and missile systems.

Adjusted earnings per share was $7.95, compared with the consensus estimate of $7.55. Revenue was $19.8 billion, above the $19.2 billion consensus estimate. The company cited strong performance in its Aeronautics and Missiles and Fire Control divisions as key growth drivers.

Lockheed raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $78.5 billion to $79.5 billion. Its previous forecast was $77 billion to $78 billion. The company pointed to its robust order backlog and expectations of continued government spending amid heightened geopolitical tensions in support of its outlook.

Lockheed Martin shares rose approximately 3% in pre-market trading after the announcement. The reaction reflected investor confidence in the company’s ability to benefit from the current defense spending cycle and lifted sentiment toward related ETFs, including ITA, PPA, and XAR.
