Rockwell Automation (NYSE: ROK) introduced FactoryTalk Conductor, an AI-native orchestration platform designed to manage AI-powered work across the industrial automation lifecycle. The platform aims to support AI-enabled workflows from system design through operation and maintenance.

FactoryTalk Conductor will let users initiate complex engineering tasks using natural language. It will connect the software, AI capabilities and workflows needed to carry them out.

Rockwell announced the platform ahead of its public debut at Automation Fair 2026 in Boston. The launch addresses the industry's shift from isolated AI experiments to broader, orchestrated deployments.

Commercial availability is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. The platform marks a step in Rockwell Automation's effort to embed generative AI in its software offerings for manufacturers.
