Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is considering further price increases to offset rising commodity costs and protect its margins. Managing Director Shailesh Chandra said Friday that any increases would be introduced gradually to avoid disrupting consumer demand.

The automaker raised prices once in September but continues to absorb a significant share of higher input costs. Chandra said the company reviews costs monthly and is also pursuing cost-reduction measures.
