OMV Petrom hosted a conference on September 29, 2026, to outline its Strategy 2030 and transformation plans. The strategy aims to increase profitability by 50% by 2030.
The company said its Neptun Deep gas project remains on schedule to begin production in the first half of 2027. It expects the project to reach a plateau of 140,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
The plan emphasizes disciplined capital spending, growing dividends and cost efficiency. Investments in renewables and sustainable fuels are also key pillars, supporting Romania’s energy security and its ambition to become a leading gas producer in the European Union.
