Savannah Resources Plc’s interim results for its Barroso lithium project in Portugal showed engineering progress but highlighted the need for additional funding before year-end. The company reported a wider loss, mainly due to higher administrative expenses. Its directors acknowledged a material uncertainty about the company’s ability to continue as a going concern.

During the period, Savannah completed a phase one definitive feasibility study and was awarded a substantial Portuguese State grant. It also advanced engineering support for water infrastructure and ordered its first major piece of capital equipment.

Land access remains sensitive. A local community group briefly halted fieldwork before the state intervened.
