Safran inaugurated two new industrial facilities in Querétaro and Chihuahua, Mexico.

The Querétaro site houses a maintenance shop dedicated to LEAP engines. This facility expands Safran’s global maintenance, repair, and overhaul network. The site will eventually employ more than 450 people.

The Chihuahua plant produces electrical wiring harnesses for Airbus, Boeing, and Dassault Aviation. This facility expects to create over 800 new jobs. Safran will add these positions by 2026.

Safran currently employs more than 16,000 people in Mexico. The company operates 21 sites across the country. These investments support growth across both civil and military aerospace programs.
