Safran Landing Systems has inaugurated a US$22 million extension of its Singapore MRO center. The Singapore Economic Development Board supported the investment. The expansion adds 7,500 square meters to the facility. Safran expects to create nearly 100 new jobs. These positions will be filled by 2030. The site provides increased capacity for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets.
The company also signed a contract with Taiwan-based China Airlines. The deal covers landing gear overhauls for 18 Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Work will take place at the newly expanded Singapore facility. The contract period runs from 2026 through 2031. This agreement leverages Safran’s original equipment manufacturer expertise.
