Rua Bioscience closed its one-for-three renounceable rights offer on October 15, 2026. The offer sought to raise approximately NZ$2.8 million.

The proceeds will support inventory and working capital needs, particularly for a major export agreement to the United Kingdom.

Rua recently named Curaleaf Laboratories as its partner for a two-year UK medicinal cannabis agreement. The agreement is expected to generate more than $10 million in revenue.

Funds from the capital raise, combined with proceeds from the sale of the company’s Gisborne manufacturing facility, are expected to help Rua become self-sustainable. The new shares are scheduled to be issued and quoted on the NZX Main Board on October 21, 2026.
