German defense and automotive group Rheinmetall AG renewed its syndicated credit line ahead of schedule. The company doubled the volume from €750 million to €1.5 billion. This move aims to create additional financial leeway and align its finance structure with expected growth.

The expanded credit facility is available for general corporate purposes. It also realigns its core banks to include more international partners. CFO Klaus Neumann stated this step is crucial for consistently aligning the company's finance structure with its dynamic growth trajectory. This follows a successful bond issuance in May 2026.
