Qualcomm Technologies signed a long-term agreement to supply core compute silicon for BMW Group’s next-generation vehicles. The contract extends through the next decade.
Qualcomm will serve as the lead provider for BMW’s digital cockpit, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and automated driving (AD) platforms. BMW will integrate Snapdragon Digital Chassis solutions, including high-performance system-on-chips (SoCs) and dedicated AI accelerators.
The deal expands an existing partnership that previously launched the Snapdragon Ride Pilot in the BMW iX3. This collaboration establishes the hardware foundation for BMW’s future AI-powered in-vehicle experiences.
