D-Wave Quantum formally appointed Gregory Golkov as acting Chief Financial Officer in an amended Form 8-K filing. Golkov, who assumed the role on September 2, receives a $550,000 restricted stock unit (RSU) award.
The equity award vests quarterly over a one-year period. All unvested RSUs will vest immediately upon the start date of a permanent CFO, provided Golkov remains with the company.
QBTS shares fell 4.27% on Wednesday to close at $16.81. The decline followed the compensation disclosure and a new partnership with IT firm CGI, with shares continuing to drop in Thursday’s pre-market trading.
