nVent Electric PLC completed its acquisition of Maverick Power on October 1, 2026. The purchase price was $1.75 billion. The deal also includes up to $550 million in additional cash, contingent on performance metrics in 2027 and 2028.
The acquisition expands nVent’s offerings in the high-growth data center sector. Maverick Power’s platform complements nVent’s electrical connection and protection solutions, strengthening its ability to provide system-level solutions for new power architectures in critical infrastructure.
Maverick Power is headquartered in Texas. Approximately 900 of its employees join nVent.
