Giorgio Armani’s will requires his heirs to bring in an outside shareholder for a 15% stake by early 2027. LVMH is among the preferred partners being considered, alongside L’Oréal and EssilorLuxottica, to acquire part of the iconic Italian brand.

The stake is valued at approximately €750 million to €1.05 billion, based on an estimated group valuation of €5 billion to €7 billion. LVMH has reportedly shown interest, though its fit with Armani is described as potentially awkward.

The will allows the stake to be split among multiple buyers, leaving the Armani house’s ultimate control an open question.
