Li Auto will begin vehicle production in Kazakhstan in November. This marks its first manufacturing facility outside of China. Production will occur at the Allur automobile plant in Kostanay, a major industrial city. This move represents a significant step in Li Auto's international expansion into Central Asia.
Initial models include the Li L6, Li L7, and Li L9. The cooperation agreement with Allur, a leading Kazakh automotive group, targets an initial annual production capacity of 10,000 vehicles. The partnership also plans to gradually increase the use of locally sourced components. This aims to bolster the regional automotive supply chain.
