Deutsche Lufthansa AG launched its first Starlink-equipped commercial flight on August 19, 2026. An Airbus A320neo operated the inaugural route from Frankfurt to Rome. The airline plans to outfit approximately 850 aircraft across the Lufthansa Group by 2029.
