The Coca-Cola Company appointed Roberto Mercadé as its new Chief Customer & Commercial Officer, effective November 1. Mercadé currently serves as president of The McDonald's Division. This division manages Coca-Cola's global partnership with the fast-food chain.
Mercadé will report to Global Chief Marketing and Customer Commercial Officer Manolo Arroyo. He joined the company in 1992. Mercadé previously held leadership positions in Mexico, South Africa, and the South Pacific.
